Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy two of Ghana’s reggae dancehall superstars have officially squashed their beef on Thursday night, as they both shared a photo on their Instagram page showing the two of them seated peacefully in a lawn somewhere in Ghana.
Although it is public knowledge that the two have been having beef for some time now, and it all escalated at the Vodafone Ghana Musi Awards a few days ago when Livingstone Etse Satekia known best as Stonebwoy pulled a gun to Shatta Wale and his crew on stage at the awards night.
Stonebwoy while giving his speech at the Ghana Music Awards after he was crowned reggae dancehall artiste of the year, had called on fellow reggae dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known by his stage name Shatta Wale, and bragged about beating him for the fifth time.
Shatta Wale did not find the speech funny, as he got off his seat with his entourage and made his way to the podium to meet Stonebwoy. On getting to the podium, and in the midst of all the chaos, Stonebwoy pulled out a gun threatening Shatta and his gang, as fans and guest scamper for safety. The security was called in, as they stepped in to restore order.
The two singers after a few days of that ugly incident, they seem to have put all their feud to rest, as Shatta Wale put up the photo with this caption:
Unity is strength
Love is the key to many doors
Brotherhood is Loyalty
Peace is Freedom…
My brother and I got a great vision for Ghana music and we take it to the world ❤️.. @stonebwoyb
Stonebwoy also put up the photo, with his own bible verses to caption the photo. It is good to see that they are making peace and planning to put music and unity first.
