Ex-Eagles coach Christian Chukwu has finally arrived London for his medical treatment. The Nigerian Football legend arrived the London hospital with his wife and the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick and other family members for his treatment.

This is clearly a good news, as coach Christian Chukwu before now has had to beg and plead for public support for funds to enable him travel to seek cure for his health issues abroad.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) struggled, as they could not get funds to assist him for his treatment abraod, so also were Rangers International football club where he was or still is before is illness, a Technical Adviser were able to help him source the $50,000 needed.

The NFF had to check him into a local hospital for treatment, before the news got out that a good Samaritan and someone who has always come to the rescue of Nigerians in need of assistance, especially legends, Femi Otedola stepped in to assist.

The billionaire businessman Femi Otedola donated the sum of $50,000 through the NFF to present to Coach Christian Chukwu to take care of his medical bills and other things that would be needed abroad.

This latest photo of coach Christian Chukwu was a few hours ago shared by the NFF, showing us that the ex- eagles captain, player and coach has arrived London where he will be treated for his illness.

This was Femi Otedola’s post the day Chukwu was being presented with the cheque for his medical bills by Amaju Pinnick. He captioned the photo with these words:

“Proud to support Christian Chukwu, former coach of the Super Eagles with his medical bills. Glad he can now battle his illness… Thank you to the Governor of Enugu state, Amaju Pinnick, the chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Onochie Anibeze for presenting the cheque on my behalf. ? … F.Ote?”

We thank Amaju Pinnick and his team for the support, at least even though they did not provide the funds, they are showing enough care and support to the family in their time of need.
