The man that single-handedly dumped Manchester United from this season’s UEFA Champions League, the French man, Ben Yedder finally meet up with his International teammate and Manchester United Vice Captain Paul Pogba. The two French men who were called up by their manager for the International game against Colombia, met at the team hotel, as they were pictured exchanging pleasantries.
From the photo, you could tell both players could not help it but be reminded of that fateful night again. Sad for Paul Pogba, given how highly he is rated both in his native country France, and Manchester United. But fun and sweet for Wissam Ben Yedder who keep proving that he can be one of the best strikers in the world.
The game which saw Spanish side Sevilla defeating Manchester United at their own backyard 1-2 to advance to the UEFA Champions League, saw Ben Yedder coming from the bench in the 60th minutes to net two outstanding goals to give his side a well-deserved win over the defensive and poorly managed Jose Mourinho’s team.
