Omobolanle who is popularly known as Papi Luwe clocks 64 today, and has been receiving messages from friends and family members, and one of those that has taken out time to celebrate the comedian, is no other than Mr. Alleluya Akpobome also called Ali Baba.

Mr. Sunday Omobolanle is a household name when it comes to comedy in Nigeria, and some of the soap operas in Nigeria, and telecom adverts on television, billboards, and radio.
Taking to his social media page to celebrate his mentor and colleague in the entertainment industry Ali Baba went memory lane, narrating how Papi Luwe has been a father to him.

Ali Baba in his message spoke about how Mr. Omobolanle encouraged him to continue his style of comedy, and how his unique style will bring him respect and fortune if he continues to raise the bar. He said.

He said Papi Luwe was such a father to him, that he never liked being called ‘Daddy”, as people could see him as being old, when actually he is not. He said:

“Happy birthday. You told me in 1992, at the National Theatre, that the kind of comedy I am doing will bring more respect to all the comedians across the board. You added that I should keep at it. And prayed for me that I should not stop raising the bar in the industry.

I used to call you Daddy, you said, it will make people see you as old. That you can tolerate Uncle and senior… and that jalejale, Egbon is the last price. Because you don’t want anybody to pit you in the cabinet of old people. Then I found out your age. DADDY WA, ema pe fun wa. Olorun a sho yin. Layo ati alafia. @sundayomobolanle… DADDY yo! Daddy yoo!! O get meeee!!!” Ali Baba concludes.
