Lagos PPRO Dolapo Badmus curses those supporting internet frauds (Yahoo-Yahoo) saying they should go for a brain checkup and cleansing. She said this in her latest Instagram post, as she shares her opinion on a topic that has dominated the social media trends circle for some time now.
PPRO Dolapo Badmus in voicing her opinion, said she wished the criminal law in Nigeria can be reviewed so that those supporting the activities of these internet fraudsters can also be arrested and jailed alongside them, and possibly rot in jail.
A lot of Nigerian celebrities have spoken for and against the activities of these fraudsters with the street name, Yahoo-Yahoo. The Yahoo started trending again after a popular singer Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley during Instagram live session explained the ‘important role’ these fraudsters play in the Nigerian economy, and why rather than condemn them, Nigerians should be praying for them.
He said their activities allows for more money in circulation in the economy, and while others supported his points, majority attacked him for saying such, and even went as far as allegedly calling him a Yahoo-Yahoo.
Lagos PPRO Dolapo Badmus we sensed, having listened and seen all the reactions from Nigerians in the last few days on the issue that has become a National embarrassment, decided to share her own views. Taking to her Instagram account, she put up this long interesting views about Yahoo-Yahoo. She said:
“Anyone that supports Yahoo (internet fraud) business needs to take his or her brain for check up and cleansing! How on earth will a sane person support daylight criminality? We can never degenerate as a nation! If we continue like this then one day we will wake up to see some people supporting robbery and terrorism! How I wish we can have a law that makes anyone openly canvassing for them as guilty as the fraudsters.
These fraudsters have demonised Nigeria and Nigerians! Our young entrepreneurs have lost business deals due to the activities of these Yahoo boys, our younger ones can’t even get Visas to visas countries offering them business opportunities. Yet we are here with some people defending and justifying this illegality? We can’t afford to destroy this nation by our actions or inaction. that’s not what our forefathers envisioned.
I know some Yahoo Yahoo members and their family will catch fire with this post. but where is kanmi in the death of mama Adele? as if I care? May all Yahoo yahoo Boys disturbing the progress of our hardworking youths be caught and rot in jail. and may all supporting them fall victim of their activities.”
