One Ikechukwu Alieze an internet fraudster who was alleged to be impersonating Nigerian businessman and Delta State Senator-elect, Prince Nwoko has been arraigned at an Asaba Magistrate Court.
The suspected fraudster Ikechukwu Alieze who is only 22-year-old, according to report, was docked on a two count charge bordering on impersonation and fraud, to which he pleaded not guilty. He was consequently granted bail in the sum of N300,000 naira and a surety who must be a civil servant of not less than grade level 08 and own a landed property in Delta State. The case was adjourned to 13th May 2019.

“The internet fraudster who was recently arrested for impersonating Delta North Senator-elect, Prince Ned Nwoko and defrauding people, Ikechukwu Alieze was yesterday arraigned at Asaba Magistrate Court. On the dock, a two-count charge of impersonation and fraud (aka 419) was preferred against the 22-year old.
Closely guided by his two lawyers, the crook, whose apparent friends thronged the court premises, pleaded not guilty to both charges.
His counsel’s application for bail was granted by the Magistrate in the sum of #300,000 and a surety who must be a civil servant of not less than grade level 08 and own a landed property in Delta State. The case was adjourned to 13 May 2019 for hearing.”
