The Special Adviser to Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State on Social Media, Mr Salihu Tanko Yakasai has berated the people of the South West zone, over poor Presidential result recorded for President Buhari in the zone.
Taking to his Twitter handle Salihu Tanko Yakasai said:
“I am terribly disappointed and saddened by the South West results for APC, despite being the biggest beneficiary of this government both in terms of juicy appointments and projects, (they even got a whole new rail line from Lagos to Ibadan) yet, APC narrowly won. Shame!”
Sensing the backlash he received from his first post, he put out another post making himself declare and standing his ground on his earlier post saying:
“Instead of insulting me upandan, the SW APC needs to do some soul searching inwards ahead of 2023. There will be no block vote from the North for any party bcos Buhari will not be on the ballot paper. The earlier this conversation starts, the better for us all.”
President Buhari won in 15 Local Government Areas of in Lagos State, while Atiku won in five councils, heavily populated by South East residents.
