Nigerian Afro-pop star, Innocent Idibia who is famoulsy known as 2Baba has a few hours ago, taken to his social media page to announce that he will be celebrating 20-years of being in the music industry, and 20-years after his first hit song with the now defunct music group, Plantashun boyz which he tagged ’20yearsAking’.
The likes of 2Baba can be placed into the category of a legend, as he has contributed to the growth of the Nigerian music industry, as back then when boy band such as the likes of BackStreet Boys, Boy Zone, Westlife, Jackson Five and the rest used to reign, the Plantashun Boyz which had 2Baba as their lead singer, was Africa’s best boy band, and they did steal a lot of hearts back then…lol
Since he broke up from his group, 2Baba has made a name for himself and brand, and even with all the Baby mamas madness surrounding him, he still finds a way of remaining relevant. He is one of those musicians that has somehow managed to still be at the top of their game, despite the whole craze for a ‘new skool’ sound…He has hardly put out a song that is not a hit, even those he was featured in always end up becoming a hit song…African Queen tops all of them though.
2Baba made the announcement of a possible reunion which we do not know if Black Face will attend on his social media page, saying:
