Beyonce Jay-Z are known to always want to do things differently from the usual norm, as in celebrating the Black History Month, and them winning an award at the Brit Awards, paid special tribute to Duchess of Sussex, Meghan using a replica of Mona Lisa paint.
Byoncé Jay-Z paid tribute to Meghan by switching up the famous paint of Mona Lisa with that of the Duchess of Sussex, in their acceptance speech for winning the best International group at the Brits Award.
She shared a short video on her Instagram page where Jay-Z and herself showed a scene reminiscent of their ‘Apes**t’ music video, in which they famously pose in front of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa” at the Louvre, the pair are seen standing either side of a portrait with their award. She captioned it with:
“Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group. I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle. How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova. ?? In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.”
