After a few days of search without success, authorities have released a piece of cheering news, saying they have located debris of the missing plane that carried Emiliano Sala before it disappeared.
According to the report by SkySports, the Air Accidents Investigation Branch have been advised by their French counterparts that seat cushions believed to be from the missing aircraft carrying Emiliano Sala have been found on a beach.
The two items were spotted near Surtainville on the Colentin Peninsula in the north of France. SkySports said.
The report also said that the AAIB will now conduct an underwater search of four square miles for the missing plane, targeted on its known flight path and known radar positions
The search is expected to start this weekend and is likely to last for three days.
Emiliano Sala and the plane he was travelling in disappeared on January 21 2019, after he signed a contract with English Premier League side, Cardiff, but never made it back…teams have been paying their tribute as they fear the worse might have happened to the Argentine and other passengers in the plane…but we are still hopeful though.
