The body of late retired Major General Idris Alkali has been finally been laid to rest after weeks of torturous search and disrespect to the body of the General by those responsible for the death of a man who served diligently and dedicated his entire life to the country…It really saddens my heart…
…So, according to the statement released by the Nigerian Army a few hours ago, the body of Major General Idris Alkali will be buried at the Gudu Cementary Abuja, after a ana- Iza Prayers which has been observed by senior officers of the Nigerian Army, friends, and families.
The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen TY Buratai led Senior Officer’s and other dignitaries to observe the Jana- Iza Prayers for the late Maj Gen Idris Alkali (Rtd) at the National Mosque Abuja, Nigeria.
