The English FA is reported to be in talks with Fulham and Jacksonville Jaguars owners Shahid Khan as they are set to sell the Wembley stadium for $800m. According to a statement released online, the FA are in talks with prospective buyers as talks continue for a possible agreement.
The stadium located in London was opened in 2007, on the site of the original Wembley Stadium, which was demolished from 2002–2003. The stadium which is the National team Stadium for the ‘Three Lions’ and where all the English Cup semi and finals are played, is a capacity of 90,000 and was reported to have cost $789m. It is valued at present $1.09billion.
My question now is, is the price right and why sell when you can rent!
