kaltunbare: Troops of 22 Brigade has neutralized three Boko Haram terrorists, while others escaped with gunshot wounds, as the Nigerian troops rescued two minors in the operation.
This news is coming just a few hours after the Nigerian Army gave a report that troops neutralized about 76 Boko Haram members in Metele in the northern region of Borno State, after a fierce gun battle between the Nigerian Army and the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists.
The Nigerian Army also reported that they lost some men in the battle, while about sixteen were injured and are receiving adequate treatment.
The new statement released a while ago, on how the troops of 22 brigade neutralized the Boko Haram members in Kaltunbare Borno State reads:
“Troops of 22 Brigade Garrison Infiltrate Boko Haram Terrorists Camp in kaltunbare Borno State. Gallant troops of 22 Brigade Garrison Dikwa supported by vigilantes, on deliberate offensive patrol, infiltrated a Boko Haram Terrorists camp at Kaltunbare in Borno State on 10 October 2018.
During the encounter 3 BHTs were neutralized while others escaped with gunshot wounds. 2 minors were also rescued.”
In another development, the Nigerian Army said that the Chief Of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen TY Buratai has commended the gallant troops and urged them to continue carrying out raids, deliberate patrols and attacks to decimate the remnants of Boko Haram Terrorists in the North East.
