Melania Trump on Tuesday, embarked on her first solo and four-Nation tour of Africa as she makes her first stop in  Ghana, where she paid a visit to an Hospital in the small West African country, alongside the first lady of Ghana Mrs. Nana Akufor-Addo in Accra, which is the capital of Ghana.

Mrs. Melania Trump aside visiting Ghana, will also spend the week going to Kenya, Malawi and Egypt as part of her four-Nation tour of Africa.

Mrs. Nana Akufor-Addo while receiving the first lady of the United States, said Ghana and Ghanaians are pleased to receiving her to their country. She said:

“It is a pleasure to welcome Mrs. Melania Trump, the First Lady of the United States of America, as she makes Ghana her first stop on a four-nation tour of Africa” she said

Mrs Trump and the Ghana first lady on Tuesday  morning, both paid a  visit to the Ridge Hospital where she interacted with mothers and children, and donated items to the hospital, which included a top of the range phototherapy machine, a welcome addition to the neo-natal ward at the hospital.

She promised to work together with the Ghanain first lady saying together they can do more to improve the well-being of mothers and children all over the world.

The visit is still a suprise one and Mrs. Trump traveling alone shows the visit must have been based on a personal issue and her trying to give back to those needing medical help.
