Popular American RnB singer, and actor, Rotimi teases fans about a possible music collaboration with Wizkid, as the Power actor shares a post marking ten years of their friendship, while also hinting about the possibility of them working together, and wants fans to stay tuned.
Rotimi whose parents are both Nigerians, from his post and his new song which he is presently promoting in the United Kingdom, no doubt, has definitely caught the Afrobeat fever that has been sweeping the whole of Europe and now America (he even called Wizkid the “pioneer”? this will be a debate for another day).
His love for the Nigerian music as he has previously shared, dates back his childhood days, as much of it was influenced by his mother and him attending Nigerian parties with families and friends.
The man who is now more known as an actor and not a musician, especially after his movie character in the popular TV Series, Power, a few weeks back dropped what can be said to be his first Afrobeat joint he titled “LOVE RIDDIM”. The song since it dropped, has been topping the American music airwaves, that fans are even creating their own dancing videos to the rhythm.
Rotimi putting up the photo of Wizkid and himself on his Instagram on Friday, captioned the photo with these words that made us come to the conclusion that there could be a possible collaboration between these two entertainers. He said:

“10 years of brotherhood. Wiz put me on my first tour in 2011 and told me this day would happen. The scary thing is, we’re just getting started. @wizkidayo #staytuned#Pioneer”
