Ibrahim Shekarau and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso are the latest Nigerian top politicians and Presidential aspirants to pay a condolence visit to Governor of Bayelsa State, Governor Seriaki Dickson over his late mother.
Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso who are both former Governors of Kano State have commiserated with the Governor of Bayelsa State, Governor Seriake Dickson, over the death of his mother, late Mrs. Goldcoast Dickson.
Governor Seriake Dickson who over the years have been described as that one Nigerian Politician that has played politics of togetherness, irrespective of political party affiliations, seems to be that ‘beautiful bride’ all Nigerian politician especially all the Presidential aspirants from the Peoples Democratic Party want to drag to their corner, as the race for the 2019 Presidential elections in Nigeria hots up.
Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and Senator Rabiu Kwankwa so are both former Governors of Kano state, and recently both one time enemies decided to join forces together after Kwanwaso dumped the ruling party of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to fight the present Governor of the state, Governor Abdullahi Umar Danduje and President Muhammadu Buhari of the votes in Kano State come 2019.
Though Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso only a few days ago, saw over 10,000 of his supporters moved to the Umar Danduje APC, he is still confident of winning the state come 2019 elections for the PDP.
While receiving the delegates from Kano State, at his home country in Toru-Orua in Bayelsa State, Governor Seriaki Dickson thanked them for their visit, saying his family truly appreciate their support always, especially at this time of his mother passing on to glory of the lord.
