The European Football Governing body UEFA a few minutes ago, released the nominees for the best midfielder at the 2017-2018 UEFA Champions League competition. The nominees as released by UEFA are:

Kevin Debruyne (Manchester City)
Toni Kroos (Real Madrid)
Luka Modric (Real Madrid)

This category is a tough one, and the nominees individually last season and the previous ones, have been fantastic for their teams, and deserve the award.

The likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are proud winners of the competition and part of the heroic Real Madrid team under Zinedine Zidane that won the UEFA Champions League three-times in a row for the last three seasons.

For Kevin Debruyne who also did well for his Manchester City Club, helping them to win the English Premier League in a fashion never seen before in the history of the league, will be hoping to lift the award, but for Man. City’s performance at the Champions League, it will be a difficult one for him.

Looking at the nominees, it is going to be a race between Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, and we are tipping Modric to take this one, and the reasons are obvious. lol

…stay with us as we bring you more of the nominees and eventual winners as we receive them…
