European Champions Real Madrid has a few hours ago, confirmed the signing of  Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea.

The La Liga club which has been in search of a goalkeeper for some time now, despite the fantastic display of Keylor Navas over the years, winning several trophies for them both in domestic and European Competition, finally land one of their targets.

Thibaut Courtois who won the FIFA Golden Glove at the just concluded Russia 2018 world cup, will be unveiled tomorrow, at 1 pm at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium after his medicals in Madrid.

He signed for a record fee of £35million, making him one of the most expensive goalkeepers in the world.
Real Madrid’s statement as placed on their website reads:

“Real Madrid CF and Chelsea FC have agreed to the transfer of player Thibaut Courtois, who remains linked to the club for the next six seasons.

After the medical examination that will take place tomorrow, Thursday, August 9, the player will be presented at 1:00 pm in the honor box of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

Subsequently, Courtois will step on the turf of the Santiago Bernabéu for the first time wearing the Real Madrid CF shirt and will attend the media in the press room.”
