The Nigerian Army in the early hours of today killed four Boko Haram terrorists along Gawasa village in Borno state and recovered some items, among which were loaves of bread, a bag of rice, vegetable oil and other things. This is coming after the Nigerian Military announced operation to clear out remnants for Boko haram in the North East of the Country, under code name Operation Last Hold.
The troops in their operations, rescued about 33 persons comprising 8 men, 12 women & 13 children, who were held captive by the terrorist. They have since been handed over to Nigerian Police which are saddled with this kind of operations.
In a statement released by the Director Army Public Relations of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu in a statement he released online, said the Troops of Operation Lafiya-Doyle were able to neutralize the terrorists which looked more like a logistic channel of the dreaded group, as they make their way out of the village. He said:

Troops of Operation LAFIYA-DOLE while on clearance operation at Gawasa village in Guzamala Local Government Area of Borno State on 27 June 2018 neutralized suspected Boko Haram terrorists terrorizing the area.
Four members of the terrorists were neutralised during the operation.
Items recovered include: 5 Motorcycles, 3 Motorcycle engines, 5 Motorcycle tubes, 2 Motorcycle tyres, 250 litres of premium spirit, 2 Bags of flour, One bag of rice, 100 loaves of bread…
60 Containers of 5 litre vegetable oil, 4 Cartons of Klin detergent, Some quantity of nail, Phone chargers, Extension box, Stabiliser, Some quantity of drugs.
