Plateau: “Can FG Explain To Nigerians What Happened Since No Anti-Grazing Law In The State”-Fayose

The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose has questioned the killings in Plateau State over the weekend, asking what other excuses does the Federal Government have on the killing of over 200 innocent Nigerians since the State is known not to have any anti-grazing bill enacted.

The Governor who is of the Peoples Democratic Party, and a Governor that has banned open grazing in Ekiti State, in a message on his social media page, questioned the Government on  the latest attacks. He said the Federal Government who hitherto through the Minister of Defence, Brig. Gen. Dan Ali (rtd) has blamed the incessant killings and clashes between farmers and herders on the anti-open grazing bill enacted by Governors of some States as the cause of most of the killings and reprisal attacks, calling for its disbandment.

Fayose now with the recent killings in a state where there is no anti-grazing law, is now asking the Government to explain to Nigerians how over 200 were killed in Plateau by suspected herdsmen.

Ayodele Fayose who is preparing for the forthcoming Governorship elections in his state, which he also hope his party PDP wins, in his message said, he knows that there is no anti-grazing law in Plateau so how come suspected herdsmen were able to kill over 200 in the State. He said:

Today again, suspected herdsmen killed over 200 Nigerians in Plateau State. I am not aware of any Anti Grazing Law in Plateau State. So can the FG that claimed that anti grazing law made by some States caused the killings by herdsmen tell Nigerians what happened?
