The President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari is yet again set to embark on another medical trip to London. The president who just returned from London a few days back, after having a ‘technical stopover’ from his way back from the United State, is making a return.
In a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant to the President on media and publicity, Garba Shehu earlier today, the statement suggests that the President will be making the four day trip to London at his Doctor’s request.
He will be leaving the country by tomorrow Tuesday 8th May 2018, and he is expected to return back to the country by Saturday.
The statement which was titled:
“President Buhari on a four day visit to UK to see his doctor: reads:
President Muhammadu Buhari will tomorrow Tuesday undertake a four-day visit to the United Kingdom.
In the course of the technical stopover for aircraft maintenance in London, on his way back from Washington last week, President had a meeting with his Doctor.
This Doctor requested the president to return for a meeting which he agreed to do.
The President with return on Saturday 12th May
On his return, the President’s two-day state visit to Jigawa which was postponed because of the All Progressive Congress APC’s ward congress will now take place on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th.
