After a hard fought battle all the season, especially the just concluded battle with Crystal Palace and losing 2-1, StokeCity have been officially relegated from the English Premier League. This means the club will be playing at the championship come next season, after playing 37 games with just 30points. The statement from the club after the defeat reads:
