The Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has described the death of Speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly, late Michael Adeyemo as shocking, as he pays a condolence visit to the family home of the late speaker.
The Governor who was in the company of his wife, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, said he is still in shock at the news of the demise of the late speaker while asking the father and other family members to be strong.
He signed the condolence register alongside his wife. He said:
Earlier today, I was at Lanlate, the hometown of my late brother and confidant, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Michael Adesina Adeyemo, on a condolence visit.
I’m still in shock.
The late Michael Adeyemo died of a cardiac arrest early Friday morning and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Until his death, he was the speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, under the ruling party the All Progressives Congress and was just age 47. May his should continue to rest.
