The All Progressives Congress National Leader and chieftain of the party, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu earlier today, was pictured with President Muhammad Buhari as he pays the President a surprise visit in London. The two were pictured in London, as the President prepares for the meeting of all Commonwealth heads of states.
Though nothing was said about their meeting, sources believed Senator Bola Tinubu is in London just for personal reasons and his visit to the President is nothing out of the ordinary. But most people believe that the visit could not be unconnected to the ongoing political intrigues in the ruling party APC, asBola Tinubu is trying to be on the same page with the President, especially on the party’s chairmanship position and the upcoming National Convention of the party.
As politicians prepare for the next general elections and party convention coming up soon, we just cannot wait to see how political parties manage their internal crisis and come up with a candidate that can give them the desired results they each wished and hope for come 2019 general elections.
