The Carters were rolling heads at the 2nd edition of the annual Wearable Art Gala Awards held at the weekend, as Beyonce and her beautiful daughter Blue Ivy stole the show with their golden matching outfit. The event which saw Jayz’s mother Gloria Carter honoured as everyday people award, for her bravery, and Beyonce for her humanitarian duty, capped a perfect night for the Carters.
The talk of the night was definitely Beyonce and Blue’s outfit, as both mother and daughter try to outdo each other with their golden gown. Beyonce wore a medal shinning gold dress with gigantic designs from top to bottom, while Blue was spotting both gold and black outfit, as she put on a golden headgear to completes her outfit for the night.
The award Wearable Art fashion show was Co-founded by Tina who is Beyonce’s mother and her husband Richard, as a way to promote African-American arts and honour outstanding individuals in the society. This year, there were a lot of Wakanda inspired fashion piece on display, and Blue Ivy’s dress to the Gala night was one of those fashioned after the box office breaking movie.
Beyonce who likes being called the queen, tailored her own piece for the night, looking like a queen, with some African inspired designs. She later took off the big gold gown for a more delightful sexy outfit, as she steps out to receive her award for the humanitarian work she is doing worldwide. She took home the Humanitarian award for the night, while her Husband was on hand to give his support to both his mother and wife who were being honoured at the event.
The Carters who previously announced their second tour were nothing but outstanding at the Wearable Gala Award night. The couple who have shown over the years that they can really manage their affairs, are set to hit the road by June 6th the FIFA world cup month to kick off what according to bookmakers, will be one of the biggest show ever organised by a musician, after their first tour raked in over $100million. This clearly Beyonce and JayZ would like to make their biggest show together since they got married and after each releasing their separate albums.
