Africa’s Afro-pop star Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid has surely taken his musical craft and the Afrobeat music genre to the next level, from shutting down shows, to making a music collaboration with the international acts to now rubbing shoulders with them, as depicted by these photos of him hanging out with rapper Drake.
The Nigerian who is arguably the number one afrobeat star in the world shared a photo of himself and Drake with others and a lady looking like his baby mama, showing us how far he has come.
Wizkid shared the photo congratulating Drake on his new album Scorpion which is currently topping the Billboard charts around the world.
Wizkid and Drake did some interesting and award-winning collaborations both home and abroad. These songs are ‘One Dance’, ‘Closer’ and ‘Ojuelegba remix with British-Nigerian rapper Skepta. There could be more coming given the photos, but we cannot tell for now.
