Former boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao earlier today, was promoted to a Full Pledge Colonel by Philippino President. The boxer, entertainer and politician was honoured by the President in front of his wife and family members. Pacquiao who recently returned to boxing after his defeat, shared the photos on his Instagram page with the message of his promotion.
It is not clear whether Pacquiao was ever a military man, for him to be promoted as a colonel in the military. Though he is a member of the Phillippines House of Representatives, and have been a member since 2016. In appreciating the gesture, he took to his Instagram page to say:
