Africa’s media mogul and the woman that is slowly transforming not just the Nollywood industry in Nigeria, but also bringing back the good old cinema culture back in the African society, Mosunmola Abudu who is fondly called Mo’ is celebrating her mother on Mother’s Day. Mo’ who is well known both in the entertainment and business world, as that ageless woman whose presensce in any gathering, redaites and makes you wonder where she got her great sense of style, and enegy from, with that killer dimple that will melt your heart, took to her social media page to wish her mother a happy ‘Mother’s Day, with some lovely words.
In case you have been pondering for years, where or who was ever behind Mo Abudu’s great sense of style and the die hard spirit, well, ponder no more, as in her short note to her mom, she credited her everything she has become today, even up to her styling.
Mo’ Abudu putting up series of adorable childhood photos of herself and mother, spoke so lovely of her mother’s unconditional love while she was growing up, even in situations where her mother could have said ‘NO’ and look the other way to her incesant demands, her mother made sure her happiness was her parioty. She narrated this using a shopping experience in London, they both did together, where her mother was spending beyond her budget for that particular outing, and that was the photo with her putting on a fur coat. Her mother never had the intention of buying her the fur coat, but since that was what she wanted in the store, which was obviously more expensive than what they initially had in mind, her mother had to allow her have it.
This was how Mosunmola Abudu enjoyed her mother’s unconditional love, same which she is now passing on to her own children, and her mother’s grandchildren. It was not a surprise she will take to her Instagram page to pen these lovely words to celebrate her hero on this speical day, and always.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mother’s out there. You may be wondering why I am posting this picture. My mum told me a story, that when I was 3 or 4 years old, she took me into a shop in London to buy me a new coat. Now my mum said she had a limited budget to buy me this coat. However I got into this shop and spotted a particular fur type coat, that was over her budget and I cried and cried ??, until I got the coat I wanted???. The things that our Mother’s do for us.
