Spurs midfielder, Victor Wanyanma has been named the winner of the Goal of the Month Award from Carling UK. The Kenyan International whose goal against Liverpool was named the best goal for the month of February, beat other contenders to clinch the award.
The game ended in a draw, as Spurs came from behind to force a draw, as the introduction of Victor Wanyanma in the last minute of the game in the second half, helped Spurs to level the score at 1-1. Few minutes after Kane missed the spot kick, Salah made it 2-1 for Liverpool at the 80th minutes, before Lamela was controversially adjudged to have been brought down in the box, for Kane to get another opportunity to earn Spurs a 2-2 draw at stoppage time.
Liverpool Mo Salah took home the award for player of the month for February, after netting four goals, and assisting two more in the previous month. This will be his second time winning the award. Congratulations to two of them.
