Chelsea and Brazilian star, Willian wins Champions League man of the match award. The Brazilian was given the award ahead of Messi and Hazard, after his fantastic performance against Barcelona in last night’s Champions League game.
Willian who took his FA Cup form into the Champions League, hit the woodwork twice, before netting at the third attempt to give Chelsea the lead. Unfortunately, his strike was not enough to give Chelsea the win on the night, as Messi put one back to give Barcelona a 1-1 draw heading to the second leg.
The performance by the Brazilian was expected, after his performance in the FA Cup game over the weekend, where he was also named man of the match, taking the shine away from Eden Hazard. Congratulations to him for the award.
