This is one of the news that really got me, hitting me hard that I am even short of words. Chinedu Udoji was a well known footballer, never shy to risk injury to protect ball from entering into his own net, and a man that wore his heart on his sleeves each time he stepped on the field of play.
The late Udoji was even called ‘John Terry’ by some of his fans, and one of the most experience defenders in the Nigeria Premier League

According to his football club Kano Pillars, Chinedu was involved in a car accident yesterday after visiting his former team mates at Enyimba. This tragic accident happened along Club Road in Kano. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, fans, and football lovers all across the country.
