According to a Newspaper publication shared by the striker on his social media page, the reporter used the German word “affenzirkus” to describe the player, and his performance so far this season.
Germany as a country, is known as one of the hot-pots when it comes to racism in Europe, and it is no surprise this is happening to a super star such as Aubameyang. In the last weeks African players have come under racial slurs, from Germany, to England, Italy and even Russia.
