Devin Lima one of the band member of an all boys Pop group from the 90’s LFO has died at the age of 41, after years of battling with cancer.
The singer as reported by TMZ, died early Wednesday morning, and this was revealed to them by one of his family members. The late Devin Lima was part of a popular three-man band in the ’90s with other members being Brad Fischetti and the late Rich Cronin.
Devid Lima before his death, has had a surgery a few weeks back, where his band mate described the tumor removed from him as big as the size of a football, and it was surgery successful but the surgery revealed that he had a stage four adrenal cancer, which eventually killed him.
Fischetti giving details of the health status of Devin Lima a few weeks ago, had said:
“Devin asked me to give you this update without him because, frankly, he’s not feeling very well, but he asked me to send you his love and gratitude for all the love and prayers you’ve sent his way.”
Some of their hit songs were:
“Summer Girls” in 1999 which peaked at #3 on Billboard Hot 100, “Girl on TV” and “Every Other Time.” They recorded 2 albums, “LFO” and “Life is Good.”and “Perfect 10,” in the summer of last year
Devin Lima will be the second band member to die of cancer, after Rich Cronin died in 2010 after battling with Leukemia himself, as Brad Fischetti is now the only member of the group alive.
