Former Manchester United Captain, Rio Ferdinand finally proposes to girlfriend, Kate Wright, after dating for almost two years.
The 39-year-old English man, a few hours ago, shared a photo of his family and himself proposing to Kate, while his children watched on in amazement, and in support of their father and Kate’s union.
Rio Ferdinand and Kate Wright got engaged on a rooftop in front of his three children while on a family vacation in Abu Dhabi, as the now football pundit shared some of the photos on his Instagram page. He said:
‘She said yes. How these 3 kids kept it a secret I’ll never know.’
While on her part, she wrote:
‘The perfect end to our holiday … How could the answer not be yes.”
Rio Ferdinand praised his three children who were part of his proposal plans and yet kept it secret for so long.
Kate Wright 27, is a popular TV personality who started dating Rio Ferdinand in early 2017, two years after the tragic death of his wife Rebecca Ellison, 34, who died following a short battle with cancer.
