Mr Collins Enebeli who is the father of popular music producer and President of Mavin record label, Don Jazzy, bags a degree in Film and Television Production in a foreign university.
Mr. Collins Enebeli who is still in his early sixties, bagged the award in BA Hons in Film and Television production after four years of learning, and this is not his first degree, as he had previously obtained a degree in a Nigerian University before this. He is just adding to knowledge, which is a very good thing to emulate, and we are saying a very big congratulations to the Mavingrandpa (according to Don Jazzy).
Don Jazzy put up some photos of his father’s convocation with this caption:
“Everybody plssss help me congratulate my super dad @MAVINgrandpaas he just got his BA Hons Film and Television production. I am soooooo proud of you dad. 4 years of learning at this age is not beans. But you did it and did it well. You have set an example for me to follow. I might just go back to Uni too. ???????”
Mr. Collins is a successful businessman, production manager, and also the President of Nigerian Artiste manager Association. He is also known for his constant support to new and young musicians, and film makers alike, as he also has been a part of the growth of the Nollywood industry as an actor and also a staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
Mr Collins Enebeli was also part of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) cast on the then popular TV Political soap GLIMPSES in the late 80’s, which some people like us, cannot recall, but our parents can.
I am guessing this new degree by Mr Collins Enebeli, is to further promote his business on film production or could be him eyeing the booming Nollywood film industry, and given the connection Don Jazzy has with Mo Abudu, there could be a collaboration coming soon.
