Former Barcelona and Spain star Marc Bartra and Jessica Goicoechea are rumoured to have gone their separate ways.
Marc Bartra had been dating the model and influencer since 2021, with Goicoechea as recently as May disclosing that the couple had a ‘sex deal’.
Spanish journalist Abel Planelles reported that Marc Bartra and Jessica Goicoechea, have now split, with their relationship described as being ‘broken’.
‘From what those around me tell me, there is no bad vibes, there is no bad relationship,’ Planelles said, as per AS.
‘In fact, on the contrary, there is a good relationship.
‘They have not stopped following each other as they might have done other times when there was a crisis.
‘They follow each other, they get along well, but it is true that the relationship has ended.
‘You never know if there might be a second chance or a third chance, but right now the relationship between the footballer and the influencer would be broken.’
Bartra had reportedly confirmed his relationship with Goicoechea by mistake in November 2022 by uploading a video of him with the model.
The couple were claimed to have previously split last July after an argument, which led to the Bartra and Goicoechea unfollowing each other on social media, before reconciling the following month.
Marc Bartra and Jessica Goicoechea, who have not commented on their reported split, had previously appeared together at high profile events including the Latin Grammy Awards.
Goicoechea spoke about their relationship on Spanish talk show La Resistencia in May, where she revealed details of a ‘sex deal’.
The model, who has been dubbed as the ‘world’s hottest woman’ by her fans, had been asked about sexually active she had been in the past 30 days after bemoaning her time away from Bartra on a trip to Bali.
Bartra, who was in the audience, said ‘Every day we see each other, we have to deliver,’ with Goicoechea adding: ‘If we don’t do it one day, you have to do it twice the day after.’
Former Barcelona defender Bartra was previously married to journalist Melissa Jimenez from 2017 to 2022, after they first started dating in 2014.
Jimenez made a name for herself covering motorbike racing for Sky Italia, with the exes sharing three young children: Gala, April, and Max.
The footballer went public with Goicoechea in November 2022, months after his split from Jimenez.
Goicoechea was first signed as a model aged 15, and has gone on to become a social media influencer with 1.8million followers.
The 33-year-old defender was limited to just four appearances in his second spell at the club following an Achilles injury.
Real Betis confirmed last month that Bartra’s contract has been renewed for a further year.
