Efe Ajagba Apologises To Fans After First Defeat

After testing his first defeat in professional boxing on Saturday night, Efe Ajagba is apologizing to his fans for disappointing them.

Efe Ajagba who is nicknamed “The One and Only”, was on Saturday 9th October 2021, defeated by Cuban heavyweight Frank Sanchez at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Vanguard, Boxing Scene.

The fight was an undercard in the Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder III and it did not really give what the fans were expecting as it became one-sided.

Ajagba who survived the whole duration of the fight to the tenth round lost to Sanchez who proved to be a stronger fighter.

Taking to his social media handle on Monday 11th October 2021, he vowed to come back stronger in the rematch. He said:

Hey fans. I know you guys are disappointed, I am disappointed as well. I got a few things to take care of and I’ll definitely be back for a rematch. #TeamAjagba,” he said.

According to the commentators, it was a one-sided fight where “Sanchez gave Ajagba a boxing lesson. It was a teacher-student fight.”
By unanimous decision, Frank Sanchez, the Cuban Flash, was declared the winner.

Frank Sanchez remain unbeaten and there are words from him whether or not there will be a rematch.
