Two internet fraudsters, among them a Kwara Poly student have been convicted by the Kwara State High Court in Ilorin for offences bordering on personation and internet fraud.
According to the statement released on Wednesday 1st September 2021, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), stated that the Illorin zonal command of the anti-graft agency, had on Tuesday, August 31 2021, secured the conviction of the suspects whose names were given as Oyadiji Temitope Ridwan, a student of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, and one Asimiyu Idris.
The statement also stated that Justice Sikiru Oyinloye of the Kwara State High Court, Ilorin convicted and sentenced the Kwara Poly student and the other suspect to various jail terms, having found them guilty of the separate charges levelled against them by the anti-graft agency.
