Dr Akin-Olugbade: Limit Of Money And Unlimitedness Of God- Reno

Reno Omokri has reacted to the death of Dr Akin-Olugbade from the COVID-19, telling Nigerians and his social media followers that the death of the billionaire businessman with a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce from the dreaded coronavirus, is a perfect example of the limit of money and the unlimitedness of God.

Remo Omokri, who sometimes is referred to as ‘Pastor’ and a well known social critic, especially on social media, while reacting to the death of Dr Akin-Olugbade on Thursday, asked Nigerians to see that money does not necessarily solve everything except God. He said even with their poor living condition (Face-Me-I-Face-You accommodation), God is shielding them from the dread coronavirus, while those with all the wealth and live in a large mansion are being taken away by the virus on a daily. He tweeted saying:

“Yesterday, a billionaire with a chauffeur driven @RollsRoyce and a large mansion, died of #COVID19. Yet, you who enter cramped molue and live in Face-Me-I-Face-You, are negative. Let this teach you the limit of money and the unlimitedness of God!,” he said.

The sad news of the death of Dr Akin-Olugbade was announced on Wednesday 13th January 2021, as reports have it that the billionaire businessman and legal icon, died in Lagos at a private hospital accredited to manage the COVID-19. He was 64.

Known for his love for Rolls Royce, he was the Aare Onakakanfo of Owu Kingdom and had massive business interests spanning property development, construction, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, maritime and offshore services and investment banking.

He was a great lover of high-end Rolls Royce cars and globally reputed as one of the largest collectors of Rolls Royce.

Akin-Olugbade is not the first Nigerian Billionaire to have died from the COVID-19, as many other top billionaires, and politicians have died from the virus since its outbreak in 2019. Others from the middle class and the poorest of the poor have all recorded deaths from the virus, and rather than condemn or praise the dead, we should be preaching and teaching others still living, irrespective of their class in society, on how to protect themselves from the dreaded virus, which knows neither class nor religion.
