Speaker Mudashiru Obasa who in a statement on Monday 21st December 2020, commiserated with the Ajiboso family over the demise of their Patriarch, Chief Enoch Ajiboso, described the late All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, as joyful, active and brilliant friend.

My heartfelt condolences to Ajiboso family on the demise of their patriarch, Chief Enoch Kolapomoye Ajiboso, a former Chairman of Agege Local Government Council and a member of Agege Leadership Forum.

The news of his death came as a rude shock to me because we were together last week at a meeting of Agege Leadership Forum and he was his usual self, joyful and active.

We, however, take solace in the fact that he lived a noble life and had a brilliant career as a banker an experienced public administrator and an achiever who possessed great moral values.

As the chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) and its national treasurer, he played prominent roles that cannot be forgotten easily. Rest in Peace,” he said.

Ajiboso who was the former Commissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives in Lagos State, and was also a former Chairman of Agege Local Government, reportedly died in the early hours on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in his hometown, Inisa, in Odo Otin Local Government Area of Osun State.
