The President does not have any one challenging his quest to recontest the position of the President within his political party, as no one has indicated any interest or known publicly within APC to be challenging President Muhammadu Buhari for that position.

His political party APC have also adopted a direct primaries for the President, and it will just be a walk over for him at the party primaries.

President Muhammadu Buhari will tomorrow, receive the APC Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest forms from the Nigeria Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN) a socio-political group that bought the forms on his behalf.

Some aggrieved members of the APC also yesterday in Lagos State asked President Muhammadu Buhari to reject the nomination form, as it goes contrary to his belief and his fight on corruption.

They complained about the prices of nomination forms as on the high side, which to them is out of the reach of other aspirants and violates the electoral act. But some loyalist of the President have argued that the forms bought was not by an individual but a group of individuals who came together and contributed money to purchase the form.

They said since it was a group and not by a single individual, no law have been violated, and that they are positive their kind gesture will be accepted by the President.
