Man Takes Own Life After Killing His Lover Over DNA Test Result

A man Police identified as Chris Ndukwe, 39 was said to have taken his own life, after stabbing his wife Olamide Alli and mother of two to death in Lagos. The sad incident was said to have been due to a DNA test result gone wrong.

According to Police who are investigating the murder incident, the incident happened on Sunday at the man’s residence at Victory Park Estate in Lekki, Lagos.

The woman and mother of two, lived at Ogba. She was said to have had a complicated relationship with Ndukwe for over seven years and had two children aged seven and three with him. This was before the DNA test result.

The man reportedly began to question the paternity of their second child, after a mandatory DNA test result they took for their Canadian visa, showed that he was not the father of one of their children.

It was gathered that the man allegedly bound his spouse, and mother of their two children, sealed her mouth, shaved her hair and stabbed her multiple times with different knives in the head and eyes.

He, thereafter, ingested some poisonous substances suspected to be pesticides.

Police spokesman Bala Elkana said homicide detectives have sealed up the place, adding, “They have commenced investigation. The bodies of the man and the woman have been moved to the hospital for an autopsy.”

Two kitchen knives and two bottles of insecticides were found in the house, police said
