The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has called on a possible collaboration on the issue of money laundering with the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, as he feels the agency can play a critical role in the fight against corruption.

Magu called on Customs to see itself as an important ally of the EFCC in the fight against corruption and to assist the anti-graft agency in ensuring that Nigeria’s borders are not used for illicit fund movement.

He gave the charge through the Zonal Head of the South-East Zone, Enugu, Usman Imam, on January 10, 2019 during a courtesy visit to the Customs Area Comptroller, Jammal Adediran.
