The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Jide Sanwo-Olu has continued to receive the support of some notable names in the Nigerian entertainment industry since his confirmation, and the latest super stars to have paid him a courtesy visit are the Koko master crooner Mr. Dapo Oyebanjo known as Dbanj and US based RnB singer Ari Lennox.
The courtesy call by Dbanj and US based RnB singer to Jide Sanwo-Olu might be interpreted differently by some, as maybe the entertainers are seeking for favours. But for those who know Jide Sanwo-Olu, he is no stranger to these entertainers, as far before he was endorsed as the APC Governorship candidate to take over from Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, he has always mingled with the finest of them all and a close friend to most of them.
This fact has been the reason why most people feel he is going to win easily in the forthcoming Governorship election in 2019, as hiis popularity amongst virtually all the entertainers cutting across Nollywood, music and even comedy where we know he is a close friend to Bright Okpocha a.k.a Basket Mouth, could swing the votes to his favour.
Jide Sanwo-Olu who a few days ago also received indigenous rapper, Phyno, welcomed Dbanj and Ari Lennox, and taking to his page, he shared some of the photos with this caption:

and RnB Singer Ari Lennox this evening”
Babajide Sanwo-Olu is the surprised candidate or choice of political godfather of South-West Politics, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after he dumped the incumbent Governor, who he said has performed poorly and destroyed what has been laboured for in 16years.
Tinubu in a letter a few months back before the APC primaries, released a statement where he questioned the Governance under Governor Ambode and how Lagos was regressing rather than progressing. He touched on a number of issues that the public have also complained about, as he feels Sanwo-Olu who has been working behind the scene and someone who has been their from the outset, is the one to redirect the affairs of the State, and put it back on course.
