Rihanna has done what most Nigerian selfish celebrities could not do, by promoting a group of Nigerian choldren dancers with the name, ‘Dream Catchers’. The dance group which are a mixture of both girls and boys of primary school age, are popular for their dancing skits on social media, and the group is been led by one Seyi Oluloye in Ikorudu Lagos.

Rihanna who recently was named as the first female artiste to cross 2billion streams worldwide on Apple Music used one of their skits to celebrate her landmark achievement. That was how other American Celebrities caught the fever, as they all started liking and sharing the videos on the Instagram pages. But it was actually the super ageless model Naomi Campbell that first uploaded their videos on her page, tagging them and other of her friends to give Dream Catchers over two hundred thousand likes in just one day.

The group according to the founder, Seyi, was put together to take Ikorudu Children out of the street through dance. She said given the hostile society which we live in, it will be very easy for children as young as this to join bad groups if they are not properly engaged. So, she is doing her best teaching them how to dance, and at the same time, helping them with their education. The group have lots of videos online, and the Rihanna message to them has generated over 2million likes. See Rihanna’s appreciation, after the group thanked her for making them famous:

badgalriri…..awww my Lil squad…..I love YOU guys! I speak on behalf of the entire social media when I say this… you really brought a pure joy to our spirits just by seeing how happy you are when you dance! You personally made my day! Keep up the great work kids! ❤ (see previous post)
