Late superb strike from Sturridge earns Liverpool a draw at the Bridge

Sturridge late strike at the Stamford Bridge earns his team Liverpool a draw against fellow title contenders Chelsea a few hours ago.

The result at the Bridge put to a halt the fantastic winning run by the Liverpool side under manage Kloop, as they faced for the first time, one of their toughest opponent so far and direct rival for the Premier League title this season.

The game had all that we expected, a world class game between two of the best tactical and attacking minded coaches in the League. It was a continuation of the midweek game, where Chelsea playing away from home, knocked out Liverpool in their own backyard and out of the Carabao cup.
The magician Eden Hazard as if not done with business after his superb solo goal in midweek, picked up from where he left off, combining with teammates to score his 6th goal in the League and second goal against Liverpool in less day five days.

As expected, Chelsea went ahead as Liverpool with their fast attacking game failed to produce anything up front, as the Chelsea defenders played their best game so far this season.

Chelsea controlled the game by having all the possession, but Liverpool were more dangerous on the counter, as they had more of the chances in the first half than Chelsea.

Although Chelsea had some few good chances, they failed purnish Liverpool, as Liverpool playing with injured Virgin, were able to clear all the dangers on their end, with the help of their goalkeeper.

The second half saw a more purposeful Liverpool as they did more of the pressing with Chelsea inviting their visitors and hoping to counter attack. But Liverpool made some changes that really changed the game for them, as Sturridge after all his misses at the midweek, coming off the bench wasted no time to register a goal few minutes after coming in.

The goal from Sturridge was a goal even the most expensive goalkeeper in the world Kepa would for long remember, so also for the goal scorer, Sturridge.
