According to the report by TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed that Martin Short’s daughter Katherine’s friend was the one who called police after she hadn’t “been heard from in 24 hours.”
Martin Short’s daughter Katherine died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Monday at her Los Angeles home. Sources tell us a “note” was found nearby … along with a gun.
TMZ told homicide detectives also responded and ruled out foul play, sources said.
Sources also confirmed to TMZ, that Katherine was found behind a locked bedroom door after officers had to make entry — which aligns with the 911 audio previously obtained.
