Robbie Williams has admitted to a disgusting act he does on stage while performing for thousands of fans.
The singer, 51, shot to fame in the boyband Take That from 1990 to 1995, before launching a solo career in 1996.
In a new interview, the Angels singer confessed to an act that most celebrities would prefer to keep hidden.
Robbie Williams told The Sun: ‘I have done public farts and I do quite a few on stage and they are, for I would say about five seconds, one of life’s greatest pleasures.
‘You’ll be up there singing a ballad or, ‘I just wanna (fart noise) feel real love’ and everybody’s having this moment and you’re like . . . sniff . . . ‘Fill the home that I live in . . . ‘
‘Then all of a sudden you’ll think, ‘One of the dancers is going to walk through that.’
It comes after Robbie revealed his fears that weight loss jabs are ‘making him blind’ after noticing his vision rapidly deteriorating, in a worrying health update.
The star said his eyesight has become increasingly blurry in recent months due to Mounjaro, admitting it’s now affecting him on stage.
Robbie Williams has even struggled to see people’s faces during emotional moments in his live shows.
The former Take That star has now said he wants to alert others of possible side effects and encourage people to ‘research properly’ before starting similar injections.
Robbie Williams explained to The Sun that he first noticed something was wrong when he attended an American football game and couldn’t make out individual players, describing them as ‘just shapes on the field’.
He has since visited an optician and been prescribed new glasses, although he initially didn’t connect the issue to his injections.
Opening up, he revealed: ‘I was quite an early adapter of the jabs but what I’m also noticing is that my eyesight’s not very good.
‘It’s been blurry for a while now, and it’s only getting worse. I don’t believe it’s age; I believe it’s the jabs.’
On tour, the problem has become even more obvious.
Robbie, who typically serenades a fan during She’s The One, admitted he can barely see the person he’s performing to – something the audience is completely unaware of.
He continued: ‘Basically, I was looking in the direction of these women looking up at me, having this experience that’s quite obviously incredible to them, and little do they know I can’t see them.’
Despite the concerns, the former Take That singer has also spoken openly about how the jab has eased long-standing mental health struggles, saying the relief from ‘constant mental anguish’ has been transformative.
He has overhauled his lifestyle too, incorporating daily workouts, stretching routines and strength training into his schedule.
Robbie’s comments follow a US study which recently highlighted a potential link between Semaglutide-based drugs and a rare optic nerve condition that can lead to blindness.
Although scientists remain divided over how significant the risk is, hundreds of reports have been logged in the UK referencing vision problems.
Robbie has previously admitted he had gone from weighing 13st 13lb down to 12st 1lb while using the appetite suppressant.
Speaking to The Times, he said: ‘Babe, I’m on Ozempic…Well, something like Ozempic. It’s like a Christmas miracle. I’ve gone from 13st 13lb to 12st 1lb.
‘And I need it, medically. I’ve been diagnosed with type 2 self-loathing.
‘It’s shockingly catastrophic to my mental health to be bigger. My inner voice talks to me like Katie Hopkins talks about fat people. It’s maddening.’
The popstar, who was once dubbed ‘Blobby Williams,’ described how mean his inner voice can be when he isn’t slim.
He continued: ‘I need it, medically. I’ve been diagnosed with type 2 self-loathing.
‘It’s shockingly catastrophic to my mental health to be bigger. My inner voice talks to me like Katie Hopkins talks about fat people. It’s maddening.’
Mounjaro and other alternatives like Ozempic and Wegovy is a drug widely used to treat diabetes and manage obesity in adults that has transformed into ‘miracle’ weight loss jab that’s coveted by anyone with a few extra kilos to shed.
The drugs work by mimicking the actions of GLP-1 – a hormone in the brain that regulates appetite and feelings of fullness.
