Amy Schumer is happy with her new slimmed down figure.
The comedian, 44, took to Instagram to share some sizzling new snaps on Thursday, after shedding pounds with the help of GLP-1 weight loss drug Mounjaro.
Amy Schumer showed off her trim physique in a pink silk dress, before changing into a plunging black and white ensemble.
In her caption Schumer expressed ‘enjoying’ how she looks now, and shared she’s ‘feeling strong.’
‘I’m feeling strong and like myself. I’m enjoying how I look but man it is all about how you feel,’ the Trainwreck star wrote.
‘I’m so grateful to be pain free thanks to my trainer Mona at reload who has helped strengthen me since my back surgery and @seckinmd for lifting all the endometriosis’ out of my body,’ she went on.
Amy Schumer then thanked @midihealth for ‘helping me navigate perimenopause and my psychologist.’
Amy Schumer wrapped up her caption writing, ‘I got all dressed up and ready to go to my friends 50th and then decided I wasn’t feeling up to it and wanted to stay home with my little guy. Thanks for all the love. Sending it right back.’
In the snaps, Schumer was seen posing around the house in her black and white dress, which she paired with black heels.
Her blonde tresses were styled in loose locks.
In the other photos she was seen lounging on a chair in her pink slip dress.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow was impressed, commenting, ‘Woah!!! [fire emojis],’ underneath the snaps.
Meanwhile reality TV star Snooki wrote, ‘Okay sex [fire emoji].’
Jill Kargman added, ‘You look twenty six and a half.’
Earlier this year the silver screen star revealed which weight loss drug worked for her after she previously tried Ozempic.
In March she took to social media to share her positive experience with the diabetes and weight loss drug Mounjaro.
She praised the brand, adding that it’s worked for her better than its competitor Wegovy.
The entertainer had previously revealed that similar drug Ozempic did not agree with her.
‘Three years ago, I tried Wegovy,’ Amy said in a social media video. ‘I was puking, I couldn’t handle it. I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula, whatever.
‘But anyway, I went on this Telehealth meeting with Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself ‘cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers.’
She raved, ‘My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean — I’m talking about sex. So that’s been great and Mounjaro’s been great.’
Schumer appears to have lost at least 40lbs in the past few months as she continues her weight loss journey, the Daily Mail has learned.
In 2015, she stated she was around 160 pounds during a speech at the Glamour UK Women of the Year ceremony. In 2022, she shared she was at 170 pounds. Now she seems to be around 130lbs. And the 5ft7in star’s waistline looks to be about 28inches.
‘Amy definitely has lost a lot of weight in the past three months,’ functional nutritionist Monica Partier told the Daily Mail.
‘She seems to have dropped at least 40lbs and is around 130lbs now, which is very slender for a woman who is 5ft7in.’
‘And she looks a lot happier and proud of her improved wellbeing, which is nice to see.’
Partier warns, however, that keeping a healthy diet high in protein and fresh vegetables with very few processed foods is key to maintaining low weight.
