Angel Reese and Suni Lee are set to hit the catwalk in New York City after getting glammed up for their Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debuts.
Angel Reese and Suni Lee will be among the models strutting down the runway at Wednesday night’s eagerly-anticipated event for the famous lingerie brand, which is taking place along the Brooklyn waterfront.
A number of other high-profile names will be in attendance in the Big Apple, including Madison Beer, Gigi Hadid, Karol G and Missy Elliott.
Ahead of the show, Angel Reese and Suni Lee stripped down to their underwear and pulled on some glamorous pink-and-white robes while getting their hair and makeup done backstage
Two-time Olympic gold medalist gymnast Suni broke the news of her Victoria’s Secret honor on Wednesday, describing it as a ‘dream come true’.
Reese, who recently concluded her second WNBA season with the Chicago Sky, announced her involvement last week, admitting she will be ‘freaking out with excitement’ on the inside when she takes to the catwalk.
The pair even posed for a couple of snaps together backstage hours out from the show, while Reese also took a photo with American model Precious Lee and British makeup artist Pat McGrath.
‘It’s such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an Angel,’ the basketball star told People last week.
‘This will be an unforgettable night that I’ll forever be grateful for.’
Reese added: ‘I hope I can inspire women and girls everywhere and remind them that we can dominate in our field but also chase our goals outside of it – and for me, that’s getting to walk down fashion and entertainment’s most iconic runway.’
She took her excitement to social media on Thursday too after telling her followers: ‘I’ll be walking the Victoria’s Secret 2025 runway show for the first time, and it feels like destiny.’
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is set to air at 7pm ET on Prime Video as well as the company’s YouTube, TikTok and Instagram channels
It will not be the first time Suni or Angel have modeled for a major brand, nevertheless.
Lee recently worked on Travis Kelce’s collab with American Eagle alongside several other athletes, while she has also secured partnerships with the likes of Lululemon and HOKA in the past.
As for Reese, she is an ambassador for a host of brands including Reebok, Juicy Couture and more.
She has a little bit less to celebrate when it comes to her basketball career, however, after second season with the Sky ended with them once again missing out on the playoffs. Their 10-34 record saw them finish last in the Eastern Conference.
